This
proven connector series interfaces with all existing
Kintec HS units and is manufactured in the UK by
Link Subsea in line with ISO9001 Quality Standards.
It is designed for multiple make / break operations
and is available in a wide range of contact configurations.
Construction

Male
& Female cable whips (flying leads), are manufactured
in a fully waterproof graded Neoprene (or Polyurethane),
which has a high UV (Sunlight) resistance, with
excellent electrical insulation, high tensile strength,
tear resistance and recovering (snap) properties.
Bulkhead
connectors in glass reinforced epoxy resin, a
rigid material which offers both high mechanical
& electrical strength which guarantees full
water ingress protection. Gold plated brass contacts
are sealed into the connector body under high
moulding pressure.
